The Road Ahead
I feel a bit rusty. It's a been a while. I think the last time I posted anything was back in May. It's September now. Lots of updates.
First off. DigiPen. I start Tuesday. Unfortunately, I'm taking less classes then I would like, but thats due to financial problems and getting enough funding to cover 18 credits worth of tuition, and then work. However, even though I'm taking less than I would like, I think it'll work out well in the end.
Orientation was last week, and aside from a lot of it being nearly pointless for me, it went alright. I met several people and made a few new friends. I cannot help but feel amazed sometimes at the community I am going into. Almost everyone I have met and talked to is passionate about gaming and and everywhere I look, I just see more geeks. I feel at home.
Lets see. What else has happened. Shawn is back in Iraq, and I pray to God he stays safe and well. Other then that, my life has been rather boring. All I've done over this summer is work. I did go to Ozzfest and had a blast, though. I had the pleasure of meeting the members of In This Moment. Such an awesome band, and great people.
I really wish I had more to say, but that is really about it for now. I'll have more, exciting stuff later.
