Artificial Consciousness
Today marks the end of day one of finals week of semester six at my tenure at DigiPen. Since A.I./S.I. are things I've talked about in the past, and intend to pursue further over the summer, I figure posting my "research" paper for sociology might not be a bad idea. I think there are a couple errors in the paper I need to fix, but rectifying those problems will have to wait until next week. For now, enjoy my brain dump.

I'm not dead. Really.
I keep telling myself, and you, my readers, that I am going to post more, and expand on so many ideas. I keep failing at this. I'll skip making such a meaningless promise tonight.
So long 2009. Good riddance.
I suppose this post is a little late, given the first day of the new year is over half over already. Oh well, I didn't get to bed until after 5am, woke up a little before noon, and the words are finally coming to me.
So, 2009. You provided some good memories, some loss, and has really just been a roller coaster of thrills. Or something. It was a good year for gaming. School has been rough, both semesters of the year. Lets hope 2010 is better.
But we all know about all that, why rehash it? On to the new news!
Semester five complete! And Gifts!
It is just passed midnight on Friday morning. Fall semester has ended, and aside from one group paper to get in by 6pm today, I'm done until January. Well, sort of. I still have a bunch of stuff to get done over this break for next semester, but I at least have a little bit of breathing room.
So much work to do, so little time.
I'm avoiding doing real work that needs to get done. Its been a while since I've posted, and people start to bug me when my blog goes silent for too long.
I've added a twitter feed, which you can see to the right. I'll probably start using it with more gusto eventually, right now, I'm not sure what purpose its going to take.
Why computer science degrees fail.
I want to start out and state that this is merely an opinion from someone who has not yet completed his degree and has not worked in the industry as a computer scientist or developer yet. With that out of the way, let me explain, in the following, fairly long post.
The goggles, they do nothing.
I never admitted to being a committed blogger. I'll still never admit it. Heck, the word blog still annoys the hell out of me. Maybe thats why I don't post enough. Doesn't matter...
So, some of you may be wondering what the hell I've been up to since the last post was, well, posted. Some of you could probably care less. Now you get to find out. Lucky you.
The Road Ahead
I feel a bit rusty. It's a been a while. I think the last time I posted anything was back in May. It's September now. Lots of updates.
First off. DigiPen. I start Tuesday. Unfortunately, I'm taking less classes then I would like, but thats due to financial problems and getting enough funding to cover 18 credits worth of tuition, and then work. However, even though I'm taking less than I would like, I think it'll work out well in the end.
