"Great men are they who see that the spiritual is stronger than any material force, that thoughts rule the world." - R.W.Emerson
Those that attended the PA Q&A at PAX will know what that means.
PA East cost in 2010 in Boston. Dates not yet announced, but awesome.
I think next year, PA is going to conquer Seattle, much like they nearly did to Bellevue before moving the con to the Washington State Convention Center.
I want to start out and state that this is merely an opinion from someone who has not yet completed his degree and has not worked in the industry as a computer scientist or developer yet. With that out of the way, let me explain, in the following, fairly long post.
As those that know me know, I work tech support and have been for the past four years or so. Tech support is likely one of the most thankless and frustrating jobs one can take. There are far worse jobs in every aspect, but support is unique.
I never admitted to being a committed blogger. I'll still never admit it. Heck, the word blog still annoys the hell out of me. Maybe thats why I don't post enough. Doesn't matter...
So, some of you may be wondering what the hell I've been up to since the last post was, well, posted. Some of you could probably care less. Now you get to find out. Lucky you.
Wow. It's been nearly 4 months without an update.
Time tends to move way to fast when you barely have time to breathe.
We are about 2/3rds the way through this semester and rapidly approaching finals. Overall, this semester hasn't been too bad, but due to school and work, I've been nearly pushed to the limit a couple times. I need to find a better way of managing my time and managing life.
Happy new year! Here we are, at the start of another year. Why am I blogging about this? I have no idea. I'm intoxicated and having a great time. Best wishes to everyone out there, and hope you all have a safe new year, and a great year ahead. Woo!
I thought I would write something witty, but my thoughts are failing me. Another year down, another to go. May this year be ... I don't know. Have fun, be safe, get drunk, have fun, etc.
It has been a while since I posted last, and figured now was a good time for an update.
I won't bother saying much, since it's all stated fairly well in this article. Thank you AMD. You're merger with ATi finally looks positive.
I feel a bit rusty. It's a been a while. I think the last time I posted anything was back in May. It's September now. Lots of updates.
First off. DigiPen. I start Tuesday. Unfortunately, I'm taking less classes then I would like, but thats due to financial problems and getting enough funding to cover 18 credits worth of tuition, and then work. However, even though I'm taking less than I would like, I think it'll work out well in the end.
I know I said I was going to post more about the trip to SD a while ago. I'll still do that, probably sometime later this weekend. I've updated from Drupal 4.7.4 to 5.1. And, with the backend update comes the front end update, still in progress. I hope to get everything smoothed out later today, but for now, I'm gonna go grab a couple hours of sleep.
